Nurse Educator & Solution Manager: Charles Davis MS RN
Charles Davis is a Registered Nurse with 15 years of clinical experience in settings ranging from correctional care to emergency medicine. He currently works as a Charge Nurse on 10A Medical-Telemetry Unit at Presbyterian/ St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver, CO, as an Affiliate Faculty Member for Regis University, and as a Nurse Educator for 1Unit.
Charles has held numerous leadership roles in nursing. He was the founder and director of the Medical Observation Services at Denver Health Medical Center, and led the expansion from an experimental 9-bed unit to a 45-bed service line. He has also served as a Nurse Unit Manager in several inpatient and outpatient settings.
Charles has worked on Accountable Care Units for 7+ years, filling several roles as Clinical Nurse Consultant, Charge Nurse/Team Leader, and Nurse Educator. Charles has also been involved in several ACU implementations in the US and Australia.

Charles completed his Masters in Nursing Leadership, with a dual specialization in Nursing Administration and Nursing Education from Regis University in Denver, CO. Charles has completed additional training from the Academy of Medical Educators in Navigating Challenging Interactions, TEAMSTEPPs Master Facility Trainer training, and Crucial Conversations training.
Charles has been a presenter at a variety of national and international conferences, including Cleveland Clinic Patient Experience Summit, American Med-Surg Nurses Association Annual Conference, American Nurses Association Quality & Innovation Conference, and the National Forum of State Nursing Workforce Centers Annual Conference. Topics Charles enjoys speaking on are the standardization of nursing processes, interprofessional communication, professional and interprofessional empathy, and strategies to facilitate nurses working to the full extent of their practice.
